We purchased the Emerald-NOVA-LITE G7 - PRO package.
I have been using the projector for about a year now and I absolutely love it!
I project on to a 23ft diameter dome.
The projection quality is great.
The planetarium comes with several premade shows available and more on their website to view for free and purchase.
One thing that Emerald planetariums has done for me is excellent technical support.
I had no idea how to run a planetarium, but Emerald offers trainings and there are excellent.
I also can't say enough good things about our sales rep. Sara was patient, informative, and stuck with us through the long process of getting this approved in a public school district.
I have lots of favorite things I like about this system.
I absolutely love the way students react to it. The premade shows are interesting and visually stunning.
My favorite thing to do is use the software with the students.
I can project the night sky from any place on earth and any time in earth's history. I can even look at the stars as if I were on other planets like mars and Jupiter.
The students like to randomly pic out objects like nebulas, supernova, star clusters, or other galaxies and using the planetarium we get to explore these objects in great detail.
I can't say enough about how this planetarium has changed the classroom experience for me and for my students.
If you are on the fence about this don't be. These planetariums are money well spent!
